If you received a text message with a link to view a price quote, it was sent to you by the business named in that message (for example, "Joe's Plumbing") — not by SQuote. SQuote (a service operated by Nalvk LLC) is the software platform independent trade businesses (plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, handymen, and similar) use to prepare and deliver quotes to their own customers.
The business that texted you obtained your phone number directly from you when you contacted them about a job or requested a quote. At their direction, SQuote sent you one text message on their behalf. Example of the message you'd receive:
"Hi Jane, you have a new quote from Joe's Plumbing for $450.00. View it here: https://squote.app/joes-plumbing/quote/abc123. Reply STOP to opt out."
This is a one-time transactional message tied to the quote you requested — not a recurring or marketing message. SQuote does not use your phone number for its own marketing, and does not sell or share it with anyone outside the business that quoted you.
Consent is given verbally, in the same conversation where the business quotes you the job — there is no separate web form. A typical exchange looks like this:
The business then enters that number into SQuote when preparing your quote, and SQuote sends the single text message shown above. The business is responsible for obtaining your consent this way — SQuote acts only as the delivery platform they used to send it.
The phone number entry itself, made by the business inside the app at the moment they prepare your quote, is timestamped and tied to that specific quote — this is the record of when and why a message was sent to a given number. SQuote does not maintain a separate written consent form, since the business's request for your number and the resulting text happen in the same conversation, moments apart.
Reply STOP to any message sent through SQuote to stop receiving further messages — this is enforced automatically and applies platform-wide, so no business using SQuote can text that number again once you've opted out. Reply START to resume receiving messages. Reply HELP for assistance.
Message frequency depends on how many quotes you request from businesses using SQuote — typically one message per quote. Message and data rates may apply.

This policy explains what information Nalvk LLC ("we," "us"), operator of SQuote, collects and how we use it. It applies to two kinds of people: App users (the tradespeople who sign up for and use SQuote to run their business) and customers (the App user's own customers, who receive quotes).
From App users: name, business name and contact details, email, phone, password (handled entirely by Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your raw password), and billing information — handled entirely by Stripe for web and Android subscriptions, or by Apple for subscriptions purchased through the iOS App Store — we never see or store your card number either way.
About customers: only what's needed to deliver a quote — name, and an email address or phone number (at least one, to send it). We deliberately do not collect a customer's home address or other details as part of the quote flow, even though our database has optional fields reserved for a possible future customer-management feature.
We do not sell personal information — including phone numbers — to anyone, and we do not use customer contact information for our own marketing.
We use a small number of providers to operate SQuote. Each processes data only as needed to perform its function for us, under its own security and privacy commitments:

We retain account and quote data for as long as an App user's account is active, so they retain their own quote history. An App user may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting us below; some records may be retained briefly afterward where required for legitimate business or legal purposes (e.g. billing records).
SQuote is multi-tenant software: every App user's data is isolated at the database level so one business can never see another's quotes, customers, or account details. We use industry-standard practices (encrypted connections, access controls) to protect data in transit and at rest.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting fastquoteapp@gmail.com. If you're a customer who received a quote and want your information removed, you can make the same request, or ask the business that quoted you.
SQuote is a business tool intended for adults operating a trade business, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy as SQuote changes. We'll update the "last updated" date below when we do.
By creating an account or using SQuote, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
SQuote is software that helps solo tradespeople draft, send, and track price quotes to their own customers. We provide the platform; App users are solely responsible for the accuracy of the quotes they create and send, and for their own communications and relationships with their customers.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up.
SQuote offers a free plan with limited usage and paid subscription plans with expanded usage, billed through Stripe (web and Android) or through Apple's In-App Purchase system (iOS). Fees are described at the time of purchase. You may cancel a paid subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. A subscription purchased through the iOS App Store is managed and cancelled through your Apple ID account settings, not through SQuote directly.
You agree not to use SQuote to send unlawful, fraudulent, or unsolicited messages, or to send SMS/email to anyone who hasn't given you permission to contact them for the purpose of quoting them a job.
SQuote's software, design, and branding belong to Nalvk LLC. You retain ownership of the quote content and customer information you enter.
SQuote is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-assisted quote drafting will always be accurate — App users are responsible for reviewing any quote before sending it to a customer.
To the extent permitted by law, Nalvk LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SQuote, including disputes between an App user and their customer.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. You may stop using SQuote and close your account at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
We may update these terms as SQuote changes. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
